About us
Our Mission
To support local Filipino American students through scholarships, peer and mentor connections, and community events.
Since 2016, Founder Edwin Baloloy along with Co-Founder Neil Estrada has awarded local scholarships to local Filipino American students of Universities that have an established Filipino Organization on campus.
Filipino American Leadership Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) Charity Organization.
Scholarships were awarded in 2016, 2017, and 2018. No scholarships were awarded in 2019 and 2020 due to the decision to form a separate non profit entity in order to create greater support and raise more funds. 2020’s scholarship was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

51.04% of students drop out of college due to finanical issues
78% of Filipino high school graduates attended college versus the nationwide national average of 62%
As of the 2020 Census, there were 4.4 million Filipino-Americans
